Good news....so far

Well feedback on the tag board suggests that some of my fellow northern pals are not too au fait with medical parlance and 'treatment by numbers' - which is surprising when they're still painting by them!

Just got my most recent tumour marker result back. It's 109 - which for those who can't be bothered or just didn't understand my previous post is relatively good news thus far! It would appear to have dropped as expected if the tumour removed was the only cancerous source.

Early days. I've been here before (twice!) - there could still be other seeds growing which are still too small to be detected.

Back to the waiting game........will Big Sam actually buy any defenders?!?!

Great stuff Todger! However, for a boy from Scunny to describe others as his 'northern mates' and to hint that this is some sort of negative is a bit rich. Besides isn't Bobartley moving to Marlow?

You've been telling me for years that I'm almost French - I've started to believe it! Vous git nordique!

Fab News Nige! or 'Todger' as we shall all now call you.....not even going to ask why...?
Got everything crossed for you, which although this makes things like walking, eating, sleeping etc difficult, at least I don't have too worry about work as my boss is off sick! X

Peter, for the avoidance of doubt, lest anyone think I am masquerading as a southerner I have added the word 'fellow' as a precursor to 'northern mates' in the post. Happy now?

Much happier, although it does now make my comment look rather confusing. You'll never please us! Looks like the only defenders Big Sam is going to be needing in the near future are the type with long black gowns and wigs. Dodgy geezer!

The trouble is when you let people know about your Blog site, Some bright spark will paste a terrible Joke.
So here goes:-

When the store manager returned from lunch, he noticed his clerk's hand was bandaged, but before he could ask about the bandage, the clerk said he had some very good news for him.

"Guess what, sir?" the clerk said. "I finally sold that terrible, ugly suit we've had so long!"

"Do you mean that repulsive pink-and-blue double-breasted thing?" the manager asked.

"That's the one!"

That's great!" the manager cried, "I thought we'd never get rid of that monstrosity! That had to be the ugliest suit we've ever had! But tell me. Why is your hand bandaged?"

"Oh," the clerk replied, "after I sold the guy that suit, his guide dog bit me."
